Ian Stone

Ian Stone is chief executive officer of LifeSci Communications. For 20 years, he has brought together creative storytelling, strategic insight and engaged team development to deliver results that matter to clients of all sizes.

Prior to joining LifeSci, Ian was a senior leader at Canale Communications through its sale and successful integration into Inizio Evoke Communications. He most recently served as an executive vice president and member of the agency’s executive leadership team, with responsibility for core biotech client service offerings of account management, media relations, social media and thought leadership. Ian previously held positions of increasing responsibility at the life science agency Russo Partners, including overseeing media relations and west coast operations as an assistant vice president. Earlier in his career, he supported communications for Pfizer’s La Jolla R&D campus and its precision oncology team.

Ian’s agency leadership and client success have led to awards from the Public Relations Society of America, San Diego Business Journal and Medical Marketing and Media. He received his bachelor of arts degree in communications from the University of California, San Diego.
