Kaila Parker, Ph.D., leverages her experience in clinical research and communications to develop compelling science narratives and strategize effective positioning for companies spanning clinical research. Passionate about building strong client relationships and big picture strategy, Kaila works with client partners to achieve their goals through comprehensive scientific storytelling and strategic communications approaches. Her work encompasses narrative development for complex scientific concepts, positioning strategies for clinical research organizations, and compelling science communications for diverse therapeutic areas.

Prior to joining LifeSci, she worked at a science communications agency developing narratives and compelling science stories for academic researchers and research organizations. She also brings valuable clinical research experience from developing, managing, and executing clinical trials for multiple sclerosis patients at The Cleveland Clinic Mellen Center for Multiple Sclerosis. Her Ph.D. research at the University of Texas at Austin investigated the impact of early life stress on immune, cellular, and functional outcomes after traumatic brain injury in the developing brain, providing her with deep expertise in behavioral neuroscience, immunology, and neurodevelopmental processes.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology with a Minor in Statistics from DePaul University in Chicago, IL.
