Shireesha Jevaji, MPH, is a leader in health policy and science communications, specializing in translating complex data, research, and regulatory information into clear, compelling narratives. She partners with biopharma and healthcare organizations to create scalable communications strategies that connect scientific innovation with business goals and stakeholder priorities.
At Bristol Myers Squibb, Shireesha led external R&D communications and high-profile storytelling initiatives to showcase scientific innovation. She launched a flagship documentary-style R&D series and executive visibility programs that made advancements, including AI-enabled drug discovery and next-generation therapeutic modalities, accessible to broader audiences. Her work strengthened corporate reputation and earned top-tier media coverage and industry recognition.
Previously, at Hill+Knowlton Strategies, she led integrated campaigns across disease awareness, pipeline communications, and data readouts. She developed executive visibility platforms that generated significant earned media and industry recognition, including a prestigious science award for mRNA innovation. Earlier, at the American Medical Association, she directed integrated communications and content strategy, co-authored peer-reviewed research published in Nature, and led large-scale physician engagement initiatives. She has also supported national policy and research organizations on high-impact projects, including the Cancer Moonshot.
She is passionate about developing data-driven storytelling platforms that align scientific innovation with corporate strategy, enabling life sciences companies to communicate clearly and purposefully at key stages, from early innovation to clinical milestones.
Shireesha holds a Master of Public Health and a B.A. in Political Science from The George Washington University, as well as additional executive training in AI applications in healthcare, a mini-MBA from Loyola University, and McKinsey management leadership training.
